Long ago, in a time before the written word, a young Eaglet named Ira has watched her parent’s special relationship with the humans and is curious about the world around her.
Ira loves learning the lessons from her father and is a bit of a tomboy adventurous type who is always a little curious to explore the new world and make new friends. She wants to discover, explore and build her own relationships.
Ira’s friends include Flies with Eagles, a young human girl, Emiree, a baby beaver with the softest heart, Romper, a rabbit that has trouble paying attention, Pterry, a ptarmigan who wishes he was an eagle. These unlikely groups of friends explore and encounter different animals on many adventures as they discover their world.
Our newfound chums have taken it upon themselves to be the explorers of Turtle Island, to discover and learn about the world around them
